CHIA SEED PUDDING

3-Ingredient Strawberry Chia Seed Pudding couldn’t be any easier to make. Add your favorite fruit and top with a small amount of nuts to add some crunch.

This recipe is so easy-to-make even young children can master it! Chia seeds are great to include in your diet on a regular basis. 1 tablespoon of chiai seeds has 70 calories and 3 grams of protein.

Plus, they are a source of omega-3 fatty acids which have many health benefits. They are found in plant sources such as flax and walnuts and in fatty fish such as cod, tuna and salmon.

Only 3 ingredients needed to make this strawberry chia seed pudding that's perfect for breakfast, snack or even dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups sweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries

Instructions
 

  • Combine chia seeds, almond milk and strawberries in a medium bowl. Let settle for 2-3 minutes; mix until no clumping.
  • Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or overnight.

Notes

Includes 5 g of added sugar from the sweetened almond milk.
Strawberry Almond Chia Seed Pudding: Add 1 tsp. almond extract when you combine all ingredients. Top each pudding with a few sliced almonds.
