Simple Caprese Sandwich
One of your favorite Mediterranean appetizers is now center plate. Thai basil adds a spicy twist to this deliciously simple, vegetarian Caprese sandwich.
Fresh baguette (6 inches)
1/2 oz. sliced fresh mozzarella
1/2 tomato, sliced thin
1 tsp. balsamic glaze
Thai basil
- Layer baguette with tomato and cheese.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over cheese and sprinkle with basil.
